Who We are
Unipath Diagnostic Center is a fully registered private laboratory providing a broad menu of laboratory diagnostic investigations to Private Medical Facilities, Individuals and other institutions. The company is registered under the Companies Act of the Republic of Uganda in February 2022, Licensed and supervised by the Allied Health Professional Council of Uganda.
We comply with local and international legal requirement and regulations governing professional medical health business operations.
The company was founded by a group of leading medical laboratory scientists in the country whose experience spells over years of working in diagnostic laboratory where they gained vast experience in the field. The company directors sought a venture that would combine skill, experience, passion and professionalism to provide unbeatable laboratory services in the field they understand best – medical laboratory.
Governance
Unipath Diagnostic Center is a private limited company governed by a board of directors, the top decision making body of the Company. The board is charged with various responsibilities including;
- To define the overall company beliefs and mandate;
- To define the overall governance and management framework of the company;
- To approve annual strategic and operational plans and budgets;
- To appoint senior staff of the company.
The board supervises the management team headed by the managing director.
Management
The management team is composed of heads of departments – laboratory and is charged with the day to day running of the facility.
